CRISTINA CABARCOS

Founder & Managing Director

Cristina Cabarcos is a Public Relations specialist with over 15 years of experience in the luxury fashion and lifestyle industries. Born and raised in Panamá  City, Panamá, Cabarcos graduated from Brandeis University, where she studied Economics and Journalism. Her first stint in the Public Relations field was with the German fashion house, Escada, while taking university courses abroad in London. Before deciding to embark on the creative path, Cabarcos worked briefly in the finance industry as an associate at Goldman Sachs in Miami. After a move back to Panamá City, she took on the role of Brand Manager at Felipe Motta, where she handled the accounts for premium liquor brands such as Jose Cuervo, Codorniu, De Kuyper and Marques de Riscal a position she held for four years. Subsequently she entered Chanel, where she found her calling working as Fashion PR for Latin America. Here she gained extensive insight into the local markets and developed close relationships with local journalists and influencers in various Latin countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Panamá. For six years, Cabarcos oversaw various groundbreaking projects in the region. Her most significant accomplishments include The Little Black Jacket exposition in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 2013, and the historic CHANEL Cruise show in Havana, in 2016.

Keen on contributing to the expanding Colombian fashion scene, Cabarcos founded C3-PR in 2016 after detecting a gap in the local market for expertise in luxury public relations and event production. Since it’s launch, C3-PR has worked with clients such as Montblanc, Cartier, CHANEL, Seven Seven, La Prairie, Tiffany and co., LAFS, S.Pellegrino, among others.

She is also the co-founder of LATINNESS.com a platform that celebrates the diversity, nuances and uniqueness of Latin America through interviews with creatives.
